I have an old model treadmill made by IMAGE 933 IM393310. Located on the front roller the speed disk came off and it runs for about 30 seconds and then stop.

You can try gluing the optic disc to the front roller. Super glue will normally hold it on ok.

Another option is to install a kit we have for some other models. This kit moves the optic disc to the rear of the motor. The new optic disc mounts on the motor shaft and the optic sensor mounts to one of the motor through bolts. This kit was not intended for your model, but it will work on it.

The kit comes with instructions for moving the optic sensor and disc to the rear of the motor. It has some extension wires, a new optic disc, and a new optic sensor.

The part number of the kit is 121241, and the price is $16.99.
