Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I do not have a full and clear understanding of the question/problem. You mentioned replacing the pulley shaft which is not replaceable. The shaft is part of the motor. If the dryer has the original motor in it; the pulley is held on with an Allen head screw. Loosen and remove the Allen head screw and the pulley should slide off the end of the motor shaft. If you do not see an Allen head screw; the pulley is likely pressed on and you will not be able to remove the pulley from the motor shaft. The new replacement motor will come with the pulley already installed.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

How do I install the door seal on my dryer?

A:

If you are talking about the gray door seal that goes dryer door, I am showing that the original part 31001529 does substitute to new part number 53-0648. If you are talking about the felt seal that goes on the front of the drum seal at the door opening, then you would need to use your serial number to order the correct part. If the serial number starts with the digits "14" or higher, then the felt seal part number would be 31001637. If the serial number starts with 10, 11, 12, or 13 then you will need part 53-0281.

If you have the right part then it should fit.

Check the part number and the resubmit your question with additional information (and the part number that you received) if you need more help with this problem. You can send us a digital picture of the problem if necessary.
