Q:

Refrigerator not working after moving it. HTS18GBSARWW Hotpoint Refrigerator s series

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct.com. I will be happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model HTS18GBSARWW, after moving you will want it to sit for 24 hours to settle. Start at the lowest temperature setting. Once it cools lower it a little more. Also make sure all the plugs are ok in the compressor area. If it was moved on its back or side it might take longer to settle.

If you have any further questions please re-post. Thank you for choosing Sears. Have a great day.

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your refrigertor. The evaporator fan motor should start running after the compressor has been running for around 40 seconds. If the fan motor is not running it can cause the symptoms you described. If this is the case, you should replace the fan motor. This is part number WR60X10141. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
