Upon researching model HSS25IFMDWW; if you are having defrost problems you may need to replace the defrost thermostat. The defrost thermostat allows the defrost cycle to be activated and it is temperature activated so it also allows the defrost cycle to shut off. So when the defrost thermostat cycle fails it can cause the defrost cycle t fail. I have posted a link of the defrost thermostat to view the link click here.
