Q:

I need a mower deck belt for this mower HRS216SDA Honda Lawn mower

A:

Hello glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com

I am sorry and do understand your frustration when needing parts for the lawn mower.

Glad to help out.   Im  looking at your Honda Lawn mower model number HRS216SDA .

I see you are looking for the deck belt and have it on the link below.  I see they also failed to put the belt in the picture so I understand why it is hard to find.

This model is a specialty from Home Depot.  I looked all over for the belt part number and it isn't there.   Looks like you need to go to home depot to get this belt.

Thank you for your question. I am sorry you are having a problem with the mower. I searched for a set of written instructions for the cable. The manufacturer does not put out repair manuals for these mowers.  To replace the cable start at the top first. Disconnect the cable from the lever and snip the cable ties along the handle. Next turn the fuel off and disconnect the spark plug wire. Tip the mower onto its side so the air filter is up. Once it is tipped you can access the bottom of the mower. If you can not see the cable there should be a shield that has to be removed. Remove the shield to access the cable. Once you have access to the cable make note of how the cable is routed and connected. Now disconnect the cable and remove it from the mower housing. Finally connect the new cable in the reverse steps. Be sure the new cable is connected and routed the same as the old cable.   I hope this is helpful. If you need further assistance, please reply below with more details.  Thank you for using Manage my life. Mark
