Hi,

Thank you for your question. It is concerning when your appliance is not functioning correctly.

Sometimes a foreign object will get into the pump area causing the pump to lock up and not drain.  There is a process to try and clear the pump and get the washer running once more.

 NOTE:

Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service.

Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.

That is nice information to know, so it will drain so the drain motor is not out of the question. The only thing left is the control board if it will not drain in cycle.

Hi Andrea,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

The model number you gave me is incomplete. The model number should be located under the lid or on the back panel. You either have a GWL15-96155A or GWL15-96200A model number. I assume you are talking about the lid lock assembly. The lid lock assembly is the same for both models. I am including an image of the lid lock assembly below. Here is a link that you may use to purchase the Lid lock assembly for your Fisher Paykel model number GWL15-96155A or GWL15-96200A washer .

If this is not the part you need, here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or to purchase any parts needed for your Fisher Paykel washer . Find your model number in the list at this link.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance please include your complete model number and more details in a reply to this post.
