Bake and Broiler will not ignite GW395LEPB02 Whirlpool Slide in range gas

I apologize your experiencing a problem with your Whirlpool Gas Range Model Number GW395LEPB02. This Whirlpool Model Range has individual ignitors for both the bake and broil functions.  I have attached the parts diagram and each part below.

You cannot do much baking with just the broiler, so lets see what to do to get the bake ignitor going on the Whirlpool range. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If the igniter is sparking between the igniter and the burner, the igniter is okay. It could have a faulty oven gas valve. The gas valve can be checked with an Ohm meter. I added an image below showing how to test the gas valve. Note: Disconnect the power supply from the oven before servicing.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
