A:

I know how important it is to have a good working dishwasher in your home so that you can keep your dishes nice and clean. While you are waiting for an expert answer, I did manage to find a link that describes a similar problem to the one that your dishwasher is experiencing. I hope my link is useful.

A:

If the lights are on but nobody is home then at least we know the thermal fuse/bi-metal is okay.

A few more details would help determine the nature of this problem.

Can you change cycles and options or does only one button work?

If you can not choose different cycles and options then you may have a stuck or shorted keypad.

If you can select all options and cycles but nothing will fill, drain or wash then the main control is likely to blame.

You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
