Question and Answers

Q:

I have this refridgerator and it is making a clicking sound and the freezer is not cold GTS18KCPARBB Ge Refrigerator p series

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I am sorry to hear of the issue you are having with the GE refrigerator, I know how frustrating that is to have occur.
This is a telltale sign that your start relay and overload need to be replaced on the compressor, which explains the clicking noise and the lack of cooling. The compressor cannot turn on because of the defective parts, and the clicking sound is it trying to engage but failing. You will need to pull the unit away from the wall, undo the box mounted to the side of the compressor and the parts will be underneath that box. They clip onto the compressor. It's a pretty easy install and fix.
For convenience, I have included blue links below for the parts that will be needed to fix the issue. Just click on the blue link to be directed to SearsParts to view and purchase the needed parts.
