Q:

we have water leaking down the front just below the water & ice dispenser GSS25QSTASS Ge Refrigerator t series

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model GSS25QSTASS; sorry you are having this issue I will be glad to assist you. There are a couple ways that you could have water dripping down the front of the door under the dispenser. If water is collecting under the grill from overfills and splashes it can drip out and run down the door. If the fill spout is seeping water out between uses this will result in water dripping down front of door also. You can place a paper towel or cloth on the grill to see if there is dripping between uses (the pad would be wet).  If the fill tube is seeping then either there is excessive air/gasses in the water lines (purge to remove) or the inlet valve is allowing water to pass through and needs replacing. The last option would be a crack in the water tube (inside the door behind the dispenser) that leaks and the water runs out from under the dispenser housing. You should be able to determine if the water is from the grill or from behind the dispenser housing.  The door is a foamed in door and the water line cannot be replaced, instead the entire door frame and liner must be replaced. This does not come with the dispenser or door gasket. The key will be to pinpointing the water source to determine the exact cause of your issue. Here is a link to Sears Parts Direct. If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. Ron H.
