It sounds like the refrigerator is not going through the defrost cycle properly. This can be caused by the control board mounted on the rear of the cabinet, the defrost heater located on the bottom of the evaporator coil inside the freezer section, or the defrost thermostat located on the side of the evaporator coil.

You can test the heater and the defrost thermostat with a volt/ohm meter. If they test good the problem is in the control board. If you would like to troubleshoot the refrigerator, reply on this thread with details of what meters you have and I will send you the test instructions.
