Question and Answers

Q:

all is freezing GSS25GFXAWW Ge Refrigerator x series

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your refrigerator.  Upon researching modelGSS25GFXAWW; it could be the damper assembly is stuck in the open position and not functioning properly. Second, if the fan in the freezer is constantly running then it will keep blowing the cold air from the freezer into the fridge. Third, the temperature control could not be functioning and not sending the correct temperature to the fridge. If the control is not functioning properly it will make the fan constantly run or run longer than it needs to. If you don’t hear the fan always running then you can cancel that part out. I would look more at the damper assembly not functioning. Put your hand in front of it and see if you feel a lot of cold air coming out from there. The damper assembly is number 429.

If you have any further questions please re-post. Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Q:

ice maker keeps leaking water GSS25GFXAWW Ge Refrigerator x series

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more then happy to assist you. Looking at the information on that leaking icemaker. Sounds like the icemaker may need to be replaced. But it could also be a faulty water inlet valve. If the WIV is letting in too much water then the solenoid could be stuck when opening and take to long to close. Hope this information has help you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can Click Here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Any further questions or concerns. You will have to post a new question because at this time I can not reply to any comments. Again, Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.
