I know it's frustrating when the refrigerator stops cooling. If there is a frost build up on the back wall, it will indicate the defrost system is not working. To check this will require accessing the main board behind the unit. First disconnect the power and then remove the cover from the board. When you have access to the board, you will need a small well insulated jumper and place it between the brown wire on the J11 terminal and the blue wire on the J8 terminal (see diagram). These wires will be close together. Do not disconnect any of the wires. Now reconnect the power and check if the heater element comes on inside the freezer. You should be able to see a red glow or hear a hissing sound from the ice melting on the element. If this does not happen, the element # WR51X10101 will need to be replaced. If the element does come on, the main board # WR55X10942 will need to be replaced. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, any additional details will be helpful and I will be glad to assist you further.
