Hey Rrdone, I can see how frustrating it can be having water leak from the bottom of the freezer door. So I found it very helpful going to Sears PartsDirect.com and looking up the manual your side by side freezer and do some trouble shooting, be sure to have your model number in hand.

Water leaking from the bottom of the door could mean the water tube inside the door has a crack in it. If water is leaking from the door hinge, this will be the case. The door will need to be replaced, if the water tube is leaking. If the water is leaking from a different section, it could be from water building up on the freezer floor and freezing. Then when it gets high enough, the water will leak out of the door. If this is happening, it will be due to a stopped up drain. To clear the drain, take everything out of the freezer, so the back panel can be removed. With the panel off, you will see the evaporator and the drain under it. Use hot water to clear the drain. If you need more assistance, additional details will be needed.
