From the description you give, the problem is most likely the lid switch. The washer can agitate with a bad lid switch but it can't drain or spin. If the washer will agitate but won't drain or spin then the lid switch is most likely the problem.

Listen carefully as you raise and lower the lid. If the lid switch is being activated by the lid, you should hear a faint click each time you raise and lower the lid. If you do not hear the faint click, the lid switch or lid switch actuator will likely need to be replaced.
