A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dryer. Upon researching GSGQ642AS4; there is a safety thermostat on the back panel. There is a radiant sensor on the side of the burner tube. I linked the diagrams below. The radiant sensor is number 79 on the burner diagram. The safety thermostat is number 33 on the cabinet/drum diagram.

If you have any further questions please re-post. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

Thank you. I replaced the control module as recommended by a rep over the phone. The dryer still does not heat. The igniter is getting red/hot. I have power thru the safety t-stat, power to the radiant sensor on the side of the burner and power to the coils on the gas valve. Any thoughts?? I am thinking the coils are gone?? I have also replaced the burner and igniter already . Appreciate some insight. Thx
