Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

If you used too much or the wrong kind of automatic dishwasher detergent and it causes a lot of suds the dishwasher pump is not going to be able to pump out suds. Over sudsing will also cause water to leak out from under the door. To get rid of the suds; put about a tablespoon of vegetable oil directly in the dishwasher and then let it was momentarily and then "Start/Reset" and let it complete the drain cycle.

If it continues to not drain after adding some vegetable oil I added three images below to reference. If it does not drain at all; remove the lower access panel and check to see if the drain solenoid energizes when "Start/Reset" is pushed. The drain solenoid must energize and pull the plunger down to divert water to the drain hose and out to the plumbing.
