gas range error codes

A:

I'm sorry to hear that you are having some difficulties with your range, error codes can be a hassle and keep the appliance from working properly. I did some research for you at Managemylife.com and found an expert answer to a similar question that may help until your expert can respond to your specific question. The link is attached below. If you do decide to schedule service and have a qualified technician help you, I have also attached a link to Searshomeservices.com. I hope these links provided assistance for you.

I provided the information on that E1 F1 error code for that range in the image below. You can try to clear that code by unplugging the range for several minutes (or shutting off the house circuit breaker for the range to completely disconnect electrical power for several minutes). If that code returns when you power the range back up, then you will need to replace the ERC (Electronic Range Control board). The part number for that ERC for model GS475LEMS0 is 4453608. You can order that part from the Sears PartsDirect website. You may need to verify that part number using the full model number of your range (the last digit of that model number has several revisions). I don't think that the part number for that ERC will change based on that last digit of the model number but it is worth checking if your model number is different than GS475LEMS0. That part costs around $320 (not including tax, shipping and handling). Be sure that you unplug the range before accessing internal components and replacing that part.

If you aren't confident that you can replace that ERC on your own, then you can schedule a service technician to replace that part through this link: Sears Home Services .

If you need more help, let us know.
