What is E90 error and how much would it cost to repair GLTF2940FS2 Frigidaire Washer

Hello, glad to help.  Thank You for choosing Sears
I am sorry and do understand your frustration when getting the error code E90, for the washing machine.
Glad to help out.  I’m looking at your Frigidaire Washer model number GLTF2940FS2.

I will get you all the information on the E90 from the service manual for your model.

The error code E90 is one that doesn't come up very often, it does though when the washing machine electronics get wet for some reason.   It may happen also if wet clothes are left in the washer for a prolonged period of time, or if the same load is washed time after time.

You can first reset the controls.  To reset the washer, press and hold the "CANCEL" button for 15 seconds.  Next try to set a new wash cycle and press "START".    Remember that any clothes that have finished washing should always be quickly removed when cycle is done.

Now, if the first reset doesn't work.  Unplug the washing machine for 15 minutes or more.  Then lug in the washing machine and make a new wash selection.  If the error code doesn't return then it is great.   If it does then most likely you will need a new control board.   Best to have a Sears technician look at it.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website:
