I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your dryer. Squealing from the dryer is most likely the bearing but we'll check the belt and idler pulley first. Access the rear of the dyer and remove the access panel. This will allow you to check the belt and idler pulley. The machine can be run and you can check if the noise seems to originate from the pulley or the belt. If not the pulley or belt then the drum bearing is the problem. To replace the bearing the drum and front panel will have to be removed. Remember to unplug the machine from the outlet so no power is present while servicing.
