The F7 on this range indicates that you have a problem with one of the surface burner switches in the console. You could have a wiring failure or a bad user interface control board for the surface units. This type of failure will normally require service by a technician. You can unplug the range and check the wire harness connections using the wiring diagram shown below as a guide. Remove the upper back panel of the range to access the controls. If you find not problems with the wiring connections, I recommend that you have a service technician diagnose and repair the range. Here is a link for the Sears Service website: Sears PartsDirect
