I have checked the model number you have submitted. The black latch and handle is available. The part number for the latch is 5304442175 and can be ordered from the following link.

If you would like to replace the latch, your self I have provided you with the instructions for taking the door apart below. Please make sure to turn the power off to the dishwasher before ant service is done. Then use the image below to access the latch.

That's the latch I already have, which is substantially larger than the latch I'm trying to replace. Screw holes don't line up, and the handle won't fit through the hole in the cover. Frigidaire also told me that that part was only for the newer versions of my model of dishwasher.

Thank you for your question.

  • Your dishwasher should be installed to the HOT water line, and it will do a much better job of washing your dishes. It should not take as long for the cycle since it will not have to heat the water.
You do not need a cold water supply to the diswasher.
