Based on your symptom it sounds like the control board does not have the proper voltage or the it could have a failed control board or user interface/console. The control board must have 110-120 volts when measuring across the tan wire and the white wire when the door is latched. You also should check the thermistor if there is no voltage present at the tan and white wire. If there is no voltage there and the thermistor is good, check the voltage supply at the dishwasher junction box behind the toe panel. In the image below is your wiring diagram for your dishwasher.

NOTE : I do not recommend checking voltages unless you have experience and you feel safe and confident in doing so, otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dishwasher. See image below.

Thanks for your help. I found the wire nut on the white wire melted and burned and was no longer connected. The white wire on the dishwasher side was slightly melted and had green corrosion on it. I assume this is the result of a loose wire nut and will cut out the damaged wire and reterminate. Do you agree with my theory? Any other suggestions on how to proceed? Thank you very much for the wiring diagram. This is very handy to have.

You are correct with your theory. After replacing the white wire you should be up and running again. If you run into any other problems please let us know!
