Q:

Buildup of frost in freezer due to drawer left open for several days by accident GI5FSAXVY02

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model GI5FSAXVY02: The best way to manually defrost your refrigerator is to empty it out & unplug it, leaving the doors open. It should be completely defrosted in about 24 hours. Be sure to dump the water out of the drain pan located under the refrigerator. This will clear out all of the frost.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.
