Thank you for contacting ManageMyLife.com regarding your GE dishwasher making a continuous beeping sound. If unplugging the unit didn't help to reset the dishwasher, I recommend disassembling the washer door to access the ribbon cables on the escutcheon. Be sure to unplug the washer before doing so. Check the ribbon cable to make sure that nothing is damaged, disconnected or burnt. You can also disconnect the cables, then reconnect them. Reassemble the door and turn the unit back on and check the operation. If the beeping continues, more than likely the escutcheon will need to be replaced. I found a service manual that will help you with disassembling the door to access the escutcheon. The instructions are on page 13.

Parts can be purchased from Sears PartsDirect. If you do not feel comfortable repairing this issue yourself, service can be scheduled at Sears Home Services.

I really hope this information helps you today. Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com.
