Q:

I have a whirlpool dryer GGW9200lq0 it tumbles but no heat I don't hear a click or the gas blowing?

A:

On this type of symptom you will need a meter to check the voltage going to the igniter. If the igniter is receiving 120volts then you will need to replace the igniter. If the igniter is not receiving voltage several other checks with a meter will need performed. I am sending you the wiring diagram outlining the path of voltage to the igniter & access instructions to your email address. All of the components from the heater relay to the igniter have to show closed continuity.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
