Thank you for the very quick response....I did remove power, water and then the front plastic cover on the ice maker. I saw several small philips head screws and none of them released the ice unit. I removed the circuit board to look around for any screws holding the unit and could not get the unit free. I don't want to force it, but still cannot remove. Are the screws in question just behind the circuit board or elsewhere??? Thanks again......charles

After removing the ice maker cover, remove the screws holding the ice maker in place on the mounting plate on the uppermost position of the mounting slot using a screwdriver. Pull the icemaker slightly out of the freezer. I hope this will help.
