Thank you for your question. I understand your concern about the filter housing. Sometimes replacing a filter and housing can be a little tricky. The information you have received from Joseph is very good. This filter has been slightly redesigned and can be tight but it will fit back in place. It may take some additional pressure but it won't break. I'm attaching some pictures with instructions to remove and replace the filter. I'm also attaching a picture of how the water tube fittings work. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.
