Question and Answers

Q:

is it possible to have to much in my freezer GBS22HCRBWW Ge Bottom mount refrigerator

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
The biggest issue with overstocking the bottom-mount freezers and freezers in general is the lack of air flow from having it stuffed up. This can cause certain items to freeze and others to not freeze as thoroughly from the lack of chilled air circulating. It can also block the air vent leading the refrigerator compartment and cause the refrigerator section to be warmer than desired.
Other factors include weight restrictions for the slides, and issues pulling out the freezer drawer.
The biggest thing is to have the food organized properly, to maximize the air circulation. I wouldn't have too much in there where it could stifle the freezing efficiency and make it difficult for air to migrate to the refrigerator. Having too much can cause slide damage and issues opening the freezer drawer.
Hopefully this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

If the control board is clicking, it will need to be replaced. The board number is # WR55X10942 and is available at SearsPartsDirect . Unless it goes out immediately, which would indicate a short in the wires or a component, it will be a defective board. There have not been any issues with a board problem. This will be an unfortunate circumstance.
