Question and Answers

Q:

Exterior door glass GBD277PDS7 Whirlpool Built-in oven, electric

A:

Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com, and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the mistake with receiving the wrong oven door glass and the issue with the oven. I know how inconvenient issues like this are to have.

Unfortunately, the outer glass with the stainless steel exterior is no longer available for purchase. The stainless steel portion and the glass would have been sold as an assembly, so there wouldn’t be any need to adhere them together. With that assembly discontinued and out of stock, the only foreseeable options would be to search online for part number 9759072 to find one still available, or purchase one of the other colors such as black and keep as-is, or try to adhere the old stainless exterior back on, which could be tough.

I hope this helps, and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your oven. The F2/E6 fault code implies a Cancel key drive line open. This means the key pad ribbon connector could be loose or dirty where it connects to the oven control board or a faulty oven control board. Press Cancel. If the error code returns after 60 seconds, replace the key pad. If it continues to display F2/E6 after replacing the key pad, replace the oven control board. The parts can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct . I added an image below with information and instructions. NOTE: Disconnect the power supply from the oven before servicing. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, just click on this link to schedule service: Sears Home Services . I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. I not exactly sure what you mean by "board panel" but either way, it would be less expensive to have your range repaired than it would to replace it.

Your oven has one oven control board and one console. It is a double oven and if you were to replace the oven you would need to purchase a built in double wall oven. The two ovens are made as one unit.

You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
