I'm sorry you are having this problem. I checked with the source on this and was informed there is no special procedure. Remove the screw (# 12 in picture) and then the cover (# 13) and insulation (# 14) should pull off. I hope this helps you. If you still have a problem, removing the cover, I recommend having a technician come out to check it. I'm listing a site you can access, to have a tech come out. Gaining access to some parts can be a challenge. The information you have received will not pertain to this problem. Based on the information listed, I suspect the part you are referring to, is the control damper (# 15 in the picture). The damper # W10127429 can make a noise when it's opening and closing. This will be normal. I would not recommend replacing it, unless the noise is excessive. The second picture explains how to remove the light cover to access the damper. I hope this will help you.
