Thanks for taking the time to submit a question. From the description you give I'm not sure where the water might be coming from.

Leaking out the door would indicate a problem with the door bellows/boot.

One thing you can try is removing the lower access panel to look for leaks during the fill. It may be a loose hose clamp on the pump or tub.

The outer tub consists of a front and back with a seal in the middle. This would be the worst possible leak.

The image below will help with removing the lower access panel. The washer can be ran with the panel off. You may need a flashlight but I suspect you'll be able to see the source of the water on the floor.

You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.

Frigidaire Crown Series Front Load Washer - Washer will not perform final high speed spin.

A:

Hi Joe,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

Due to a glitch in our system this response was delayed. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

From your description this is most likely due to bad motor control board. The diagnosis of this issue will require the use of an ohm/volt meter and you will have to perform ohm checks and/or live voltage checks. If you have an ohm/volt meter and are confident in your technical abilities, please reply below and I will be happy to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram and for parts purchases; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Per advice, I removed water pump to see if the water not draining could also be reason for not doing the final high speed spin. I removed the pump and tested it with electricity from an outside source. pump works fine. Since I did not find any foreign objects blocking the pump, I will re-install, test and see if there is electricity going down the wire to the pump. Somebody jump in here if you have suggestions
