Thank you for your question.

I can understand your disappointment when the repair did not change the temperature problem.

It is possible that they put the wrong thermostat in or perhaps they did not install the sensor bulb in the right place.

The sensor on the thermostat has to be in the air flow in the Styrofoam holder in the cold air stream that comes down out of the freezer.

The sensor bulb may not be getting enough cold air passing by it to turn the compressor off.

I would call them back again to fix it correctly.

You can check on your receipt for the part number they used and see if it matches the original equipment manufacture part number which is: 5304445058.
