Having a properly working refrigerator is important. I did some research on your model number but was not able to find a solution. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days for your expert to reply. If you would like to look into Sears doing the repair here is a link for Sears Home Services. I do hope that everything works out.

Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern about the water leaking. Replacing the drain pan in this unit can be very difficult and unfortunately, there is no instructions or diagrams for this. The unit will need to be tilted backward to gain access to the bottom and the drain pan. Be sure to remove anything inside the cabinet that could spill and also disconnect the power first. The pan will be held in place with some screws. Remove the screws and carefully lower the pan. Some of these pans have a heater but this model is not showing to have one in the pan. I hope this will help you.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services.

When you replace the water filter you should coat the o-rings on the filter with silicone grease and insert the end into the hole at the top of the filter housing. Screw the filter bowl on the housing firmly.

It is possible that one of the fittings on the back of the filter housing is leaking. You can remove the 2 screws and pull the housing forward enough to see the fittings.

You can go to www.searspartsdirect.com and see a parts diagram of the filter, filter housing, and bowl. If you need parts you can order them on this site.
