Thank you for your question. Rewiring some parts can be a challenge. Some of these replacement starting kits can be difficult even for a technician to install. I'm not showing any instructions (wire diagram) for this starting device. Usually when a part has been updated, if the wiring or installation is different, instructions will be included. I'm attaching the wiring diagram for this model and also a separate diagram for the compressor. I hope this will help you. If this will not work for the new starting device, a technician may be needed. If you can send a picture of the new starting device it may also help.

Thanks Anna and Scott. The diagram was somewhat helpful. In the end, I ended up attaching the two capacitor clips to the relay and then the white wire as well to the relay. The red wire went back original clip which then attached to the top pin on the compressor. The new relay assembly attached to the lower two pins of the compressor. The fridge started running, but no cold air. I left it to run over night (perhaps it would take time to cool off), but in the morning, I found that it was not running and the fridge was still warm. Here are the pictures showing the compressor pin, new delay with attachments, and the original connector for the top pin. Any thoughts?

Thank you for the pictures. If the compressor did start but then quit again, it would lead to a defective compressor. If the compressor continued to run but it's not cooling, it will lead to a sealed system problem or the compressor may not be pumping. A technician will need to make this type of check and repair. You can call 1-800-469-4663 to schedule a tech to come out.
