Thank you for your question. I know it can be disappointing when the ice dispenser stops working. I see you have already replaced the auger motor and the control board and found the switch to be working ok. This only leaves the power board as the possible reason for the motor not to run. First, make sure all the wires are ok, nothing pinched or pierced and all connections are secure. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will assist you further.

thanks for your reply. i should add that the auger motor hums when you push the actuator but the shaft does not rotate. and the control board that you are talking about, is it pc board (part # 38) to the dispenser?

Elwood, if the auger motor is humming but not turning, it will indicate there is power to it and that the motor is stuck. In this case, the power board should be ok. This would lead back to a failed auger motor.

Elwood, I do understand that the motor has been replaced but if it is humming and not turning, it would lead to a defective motor. Now, what you can do, if you feel comfortable making a voltage check, will be to check the voltage, when the motor is activated. If there is a full 120 volts at the motor, then the motor will need to be replaced. If you would like to have a technician check this, you can call 1-800-469-4663 to schedule a tech to come out. I hope this will help you.
