With the front panel off you should see if the belt is on the main pulley or not. I suspect the belt burn into pieces.

The metal shavings are most likely from the spin bearing.

Does the tub spin freely? If the bearing heats up and seizes then the belt will burn into two pieces.

The bearing is a major repair requiring a removal of the transmission to access. It is not a good do-it-yourself project.

The 134511600 belt is about $20 dollars and you might start by replacing it and see how the washer runs.

I hope this information is helpful to you. You can reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.

Fred, Thank you so much. I have had no problem with the spin cycle at all. The only problem was the leakage and it is being fixed. I would never had known about this belt problem if I didn't have the water leakage so now hopefully I can fix it also, Thanks again, Pat
