A:

I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your Frigidaire laundry center. Moving a laundry center may be a two person job. You want to be safe and take your time to think the process out. Haste makes waste my grandmother would say when I got ahead of my self. I did some research and found this expert response that may help. Manage My Life is a great way to plan out this repair Larry. I hope it goes well.

I believe your problem will be with the temperature switch. On this model the temperature switch controls the Air Dry feature. The 134399800 temperature switch is the most likely cause on the problem. I believe the images below will assist you in this project. Replacing the temperature switch would be a good do-it-yourself project. Remember to turn the power off first.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I added an image below with the instructions for removing the idler pulley. Make a note or take a picture of how the torsion spring is positioned before removing the idler assembly so that you will know how install the new torsion spring. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the front panel.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
