Q:

Door Seal leak FGHD2433KB1 Frigidaire Dishwasher

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when needing to replace the door seal on your dishwasher. I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found instructions to replace the door seal.

Open the dishwasher door & remove all of the outer door panel screws. After separating the inner & outer door panels you will be able to access the screws holding on the lower door seal.

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.

I've removed the outer door panel. Can you give me an image of where these screws are?

Q:

I have model FGHD2433KB1 Frigidaire gallery dishwasher, I get an Er ou code while in wash cycle, can you help me out, what does this code mean?

A:

Thank you for your question.  I am sorry for the problem with your Frigidaire FGHD2433KB1 Dishwasher.  I believe the Er is half a code.  The image below contains a list of codes you might see.  There are also instructions to run a diagnostic test.  I suspet you will end up seeing an ER/uF which is a vent fan error.  There is also an ER/uo code indicating the vent did not close.  To enter a diagnostic test you press the Air/AirDry and Start/Cancel keypads at the same time for approximately 3 seconds.  I hope this helps.  You can reply below with any additional details for further assistance.

with ER/uo, it means that it has to do with the vent assembly, the door is stuck open according to the list you provided me. Can I do a temporary fix to this, or does it require me to buy a part? Please advise. Thanks. I also went to give 4 star rating, and it would not let me get past 1 star.

With a ER/uo replacing the vent assembly will most likely fix the problem.

Fred, I have a Frigidaire dishwasher mod FGHD2433KB1 and it began turning on by itself (not in wash mode) but it sounds like the water pump may be running and the small display is blinking on and off rapidly. The display has an "Er" in the middle of the screen. I can push the "start/cancel button and the screen will turn off and the dishwasher begins the wash cycle and it will appear to be working properly for a few minutes but then the dishwasher will stop (screen black) then after a few more minutes the screen blinking will begin again. Can you help me diagnose my problem? Thank you.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your dishwasher not working properly. We are here to help. I suspect the electronic control board is bad.  The electronic control board sends the voltage to operate different parts during the cycle. I suspect the electronic control board is stuck in the drain cycle and will not continue. Therefore, the voltage continues to the drain pump. The schematic below shows that.  I recommend replacing the electronic control board. The part number is 154815601. I hope this helps.
