Range top FGFL67DCF Frigidaire Gas range

range top assembly FGFL67DCF Frigidaire Gas range

My oven takes an extremely long time to preheat. Is that caused by the control board? FGFL67DCF Frigidaire Gas range

Thank you for your inquiry on your Frigidaire Range, Model: FGFL67DCF. From reviewing the details on your model, this type of problem is normally caused by a weak igniter in a gas range. See if the broiler burner works properly. If it does, then you can unplug the range and switch the bake and broiler igniters if you are comfortable with accessing those internal components. If the bake burner heats properly with that broil igniter installed, then replacing the weak igniter should fix this problem.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the range to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

Caution: Contents inside the washer unit could have sharp edges. Make sure you wear protective gloves during the repair.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663.

I hope this answered your question. Thank you for contacting, and have yourself a wonderful day.
