As long as the unit will fill and drain then the door switches are likely okay. The heating circuit consist of the control board, hi-limit thermostat and element. The thermostat and element can be checked for continuity if a meter is available. If a meter is not available then it will be difficult to confirm the source of the problem. If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services . If you have a meter and are comfortable using it then I may be able to assist you in do-it-yourself. Please reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.

If both the thermostat and element check okay then the control is likely at fault. It is difficult to check live voltage across the element when the dishwasher is running. This would be the next step if you feel comfortable checking live voltage. As long as the element and thermostat check okay then the control is all that is left. Make sure the connections are tight.
