A:

The F1 code on your range indicates a failed electronic oven control or oven temperature probe.

I am not sure what you disconnected from the control board so I am sending you instructions for checking the oven temperature probe.

Disconnect the power to the range before removing any panels.

On the back of the oven control disconnect the connector that has 2 violet wires in it. With a volt/ohm meter read the resistance between the 2 violet wires. At room temperature the resistance of the oven probe should be between 1000-1200 ohms.

If the oven temperature probe reads out of this range, replace the probe. If the probe reads within this range, replace the oven control board.

Q:

What part do I need if my range sparked inside the oven and now neither element will work?

A:

I must assume that one of the oven elements had shorted out causing the element to spark/short and trip the circuit breaker(s) dedicated for the range. When the oven element burnt out/sparked it likely caused the oven control (key#20) to fail. The oven control is part #316207529. The oven control is part #316207529. You can order the oven control board from Sears Parts Direct .
