Thank you for your question.

Having your oven door, without both hinge springs can be a concern, because the door may fall open.

• It sounds like the right oven door hinge will have to be replaced.

• The way the parts list shows the hinge, it should be able to be replaced without having to remove the side panel from the range.

• Remove the door from the range and locate the screws that secure the door hinge to the oven body.

• Slide out the hinge and replace with new part. Re-install the screws that secure the hinge and re-install the door, and check for proper operation.

The part number for the hinge is: 318024748 and you can purchase it from Sears Parts Direct .

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I hope this will help.

To repair the hinges on your range you have to replace the hinges.

The hinges are inside the door. I am sending an image showing how to remove the door.

To access the hinges place the door handle down on a padded table. Remove the screws around the door. Lift the inner door liner off the door carefully leaving the glasses in place inside the door.

The part number for one hinge is 318024748 and the price is $22.70. You can order the hinges at [www.searspartsdirect.com].
