Q:

Fridgedar Gallery Professional Oven

A:

I know how important it is to have the correct part for your range to make sure it will fit. I suggest you add to the thread of this question and include the full model number of your range so that the expert can provide you with a more detailed answer. I am adding a link below to help you locate the model number. I am also adding a second link in where you can enter the model number and a parts list diagram will pop up. I hope this helps while you wait for your expert response.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order for me to provide the model specific part number will require knowing the model number of your oven and I will need to know which oven element is needed (bake or broil)?

If you have your model number; you can look up and order the part from Sears PartsDirect .

If you want me to look up the part number I will need you to add the model number and add it the post. I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

A:

Joe Don: Based on your details it sounds like when bake element shorted; it took out the electronic oven control board/clock assembly. If the bake element is not getting 220 volts the bake element is not going to heat. Replacing the oven control board will most likely repair your oven.

Joe Don: There are two red wires. There should be a red wire connected to the bake element and red wire connected to the broil element. The broil element will also have a blue wire connected to it and bake element will have a yellow wire connected to it along with the red wires.
