Your previous question indicated that you have a Frigidaire range with a model number of FES376ASH. Here is a copy of the answer that I provided based on that additional information:

The model number that you submitted appears to be slightly off. The closest Frigidaire range that I found using the letters and numbers that you submitted is model FEF376ASH. Based on that model number, here is some information that may help you:

  • Your symptoms point to a failure in the electronic oven control board (that acts as the thermostat for the oven in this type of range). Unplug the range and remove the upper back panel to access this component. You will likely see burn marks on the control board. The control board will need to be replaced in this situation.

  • Before installing the control board, I recommend that you check the bake and broil elements. Look for damage on both elements. Remove the lower back panel (with the range still unplugged ) and check the wiring connections on both elements. A damaged or shorted bake or broil element could have caused the problem with the control board.

There is not an internal circuit breaker on this type of range. It is likely that replacing the control board will fix this problem if you find no damage to the bake and broil elements. The part number for control board is 316207507 for the model FEF376ASH. You can order this part from the Sears PartsDirect website. If you have a different model than FEF376ASH then you can look up the correct part number of the Sears PartsDirect website using your actual model number of the range.

If you need more help, submit additional details and an updated model number.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
