my electric range oven turns on but wont heat up!

Replacing the heat sensor probe is an excellent consideration. But it is more likely that there is another cause. I have provided a link below that will explore other ideas in more detail. You will still receive an expert response from our team shortly. I hope this is helpful and have a nice evening.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Based on your symptom and details I suspect a faulty electronic oven control/clock assembly or possibly a burnt wire connection at the terminal block or at the electronic oven control. I also recommend examining the bake and broil elements for any cracks or blisters. If the bake or broil element happened to burn out/short, it can take out the electronic oven control. If the bake and broil elements appear Okay and there are no burnt wire connections, replacing the electronic oven will most likely repair your range. You will also need to order the clock overlay because after peeling off the original overlay, it will not likely stick to the new oven control/clock assembly. The control can be accessed and replace from the rear of the range. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the control panel.

The oven control and overlay for model FEF336FMF can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
