Question and Answers

Q:

My Frigidaire Dishwasher model #FDB641RAS1 isn't draining all the water...what could it be?

A:

Dishwashers are one help-mate we want to keep working. Did you try a second cycle to see if this does the same? I searched the expert posts but did not find anything to fit your model. While you wait for the expert review and response you can check the two links below. The first is to Sears Home Services if you decide a technician is needed. The second is a great link that can help you till the expert gets back to you. Hope this helps!

Check the sink drain and the air gap on the sink (if you have an air gap installed on the drain line). If you find no problems with those issues, I recommend that you check the drain line for kinks or clogs. You can pull the drain line off of the garbage disposal or sink drain and place the end of that hose in a bucket. Fill the dishwasher and then run the drain pump to see if it will drain properly into the bucket. If not, then you have a problem with that drain line or the drain pump. You can use the information from the installation guide (provided in the images below) to check that drain line. Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breaker for the dishwasher before accessing internal components or pulling that dishwasher out from under the counter. If the drain line is okay, then you may need to replace that drain pump if it is running in the drain mode. You can view and order parts from the Sears PartsDirect website. If you need more help, reply with additional details.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
