Question and Answers

Q:

Won't wash Fdb510lcs3 Frigidaire Dishwasher

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

If and when the pressure switch senses a significant amount of soil in the pump the pressure switch closes and causes the dishwasher to drain the water and then refill. This would be normal operation of the dishwasher. However, if the pump assembly has a blown seal inside the pump it would cause the pressure switch to trip prematurely and cause it pump out consistently during each of the soil sensing intervals.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

I few more details would help me help you with this problem. You changed the water valve but you say it is still not working.

I am not sure if there is any water entering the dishwasher or not. If there is no fill first thing to check is the float. Is it in the right position. When lifted up and down do you hear the float switch click.

If there is water in the dishwasher and it is not being circulated then the problem might be the circulation motor. Does it run or do you just hear a hum?

Give me a reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
