Q:

float switch wiring Fdb1050reb2 Frigidaire Dishwasher

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your dishwasher. Upon researching model41744102301; we would have to be there to see how it was originally connected. Without seeing connections we would have to hook up a special tool to see which way the power flows through the switch.

Thank you for choosing Sears. Have a great day.

Q:

I am having to flip breaker switch every time before being able to start dishwasher. Also the heated dry is so hot it's melting any plastic containers?

A:

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your dishwasher overheating. We are here to help. Based on the symptom, I suspect the heaters thermostat needs to be replaced. The heater thermostat is designed to open at 200 degrees. I suspect the thermostat is not opening, causing the heating element to get too hot. When the heating element is overheating, it will draw too much current, causing the circuit breaker to trip. The heater thermostat is located under the dishwasher. The image below shows a picture of the heater thermostat. Replacing the thermostat should solve both problems. The part number of the thermostat is 154290204. I hope this helps.
