Thank you for your question. When the floor cleaner leaks or soaks everything when trying to use, it is upsetting.  I have a similar steam vac and I am not able to identify this part for you. The type of leaking you are describing usually occurs in the nozzle assembly. I have checked every part in the diagrams with no luck identifying this part.  I recommend taking the Hoover to a service center for repairs. You could try to disassemble yourself, but that often leads to another broken part.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your input. I found that the part does not belong to the vac. The person I lent it to has a child, enough said. I have fixed the problem myself. It seems that it was the suction and this constantly happens. So I soak the recovery tank lid in warm water to expand the seals and begins to suck up water mysteriously.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to have a new hose assembly for the carpet cleaner.

Without the model number I cannot give you the exact part and part number for the hose.

I do not know if you have a dry carpet cleaner or a wet carpet cleaner or whether it is an upright or a canister cleaner.

If you have a F5914-900 It would be 90001351 but I am just guessing with out having the correct model number for your unit.

Please reply with the complete model number and I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.
